Across America FEMA has many “emergency” shelters that they say are set up in the event of a natural disaster or catastrophic event. Many speculate the true purpose of these shelters is to house political dissidents should martial law ever be enacted, and with just about every high ranking government official denying the existence of these camps how can we think otherwise? Even the sponsor of the bill that created them denies their existence.

Yet, if we try to acknowledge them or tell people they’re real then we’re the “tin foil hat” wearing conspiracy theorists and nobody believes us. However these ‘shelters’ do exist and they’re very real. In 2009 a bill(H.R. 645)  was passed “To direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish national emergency centers on military installations.” If these shelters were going to be used with good intentions wouldn’t political leaders be proud of them and want people to know what they’re doing?

“FEMA’s mission is to support our citizens and first responders to ensure that as a nation we work together to build, sustain, and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards. DISASTER. It strikes anytime, anywhere. It takes many forms
– a hurricane, an earthquake, a tornado, a flood, a fire or a hazardous spill, an act of nature or an act of terrorism. It builds over days or weeks, or hits suddenly, without warning. Every year, millions of Americans face disaster, and its terrifying consequences. On March 1, 2003, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) became part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).”

They’re operating under the authority of the DHS, which  answers directly to the president. So in a time of national emergency or when martial law is declared, FEMA now has the same authority as the DHS to suspend constitutional rights and indefinitely detain people.

Why does this matter? Because in the event that something bad happens they’re going to need somewhere to detain everyone they round up, which is where the camps around the nation come into play. That’s why there’s so many of them and the nation has been divided into 10 different zones by FEMA.

Obama has already started the push to disarm us, and has the authority to indefinitely detain us and even kill us if he unilaterally decides that we’re a threat to the nation so why wouldn’t we believe that the next step is to round up political dissidents and place them in these camps across the nation? He’s been doing the Irish Jig on our constitutional rights since the day he took office, showing absolutely zero regard for the people who put him in power and there’s nothing I would put past him. It’s happened in the past with other popular leaders and history seems to have a way of repeating itself.

There was already a plan for something similar that was drafted decades ago called Rex84. It’s sole purpose was to practice imposing martial law and suspending our constitution. Led by Oliver North, the program included plans to detain up to 21 million people all at once in the case of civil uprising. Now with the NSA spying on every American citizen and the Main Core program that identifies and singles out political dissidents to be targeted in the event of an emergency all the signs are there to show us what’s coming, yet people don’t seem to want to believe it.

So if you really think that these things haven’t been funded in this year’s budgets then I have a bridge I’d like to sell you in NYC.
