These Wild Claims By The President Suggest He May Not Be Sane

Insane

The President made some outlandish claims at a recent fundraiser. When combined with other comments he has made recently and his Iran deal, there is enough evidence to suggest that Americans should seriously question his sanity and fitness for the Office of the President. According to a statement released by the White House, President Obama claimed he

“We have accomplished as much, if not more, than any time in our history..”

President Obama then went on to liken himself to FDR and Abraham Lincoln.

According to the press release, the comments were made at private residence in Beverly Hills, California. A close examination of President Obama’s text are quite revealing. The comments are almost identical to claims made by blogger Mathew Lynch on President Obama titled 12 Reasons Why Obama Is One of the Best Presidents Ever.

Does the President now regard the comments of bloggers as historical fact? That is rather strange, particularly given his recent comments that bloggers should be ignored. Now, how is it that he can say that bloggers should be ignored and then parrot the words of a blogger as fact?

How can any claims of superior economic performance or recovery even be credibly defended when the administration simply makes up data like a 3rd world dictator? There is a record number of households on public assistance? In what way is this an economic recovery?

Further, additional comments made at another speech in California on this same trip suggests Obama is truly out of touch with reality. In his remarks, he claimed about his health care policy,

The product is good, people want it, and we should not live in a country where people are going bankrupt just because they get sick. And anybody who is going to keep on pushing against that, they will meet my resistance.”

Is President Obama insane? The polling on his health care law and his performance, show disapproval ratings well over 60%. These polls are not just Fox News either, but include ABC and CBS.

Some, like Chris Stirewalt, have contended that the President is kept in a bubble; this isn’t a bubble. You can see out of a bubble and things may be distorted when one looks out of a bubble, one doesn’t see what isn’t there. This president is seeing things. He is hallucinating support for a program that isn’t there. He is hallucinating an economic recovery that isn’t there and cannot be supported by the scant honest data out there. In foreign policy, he is hallucinating that he struck some kind of great deal with Iran when the truth is that it is a terrible deal. When it comes to Congress, the President blames the Tea Party as being obstructionist while at the same time while claiming a mandate to do whatever they wish because they won the election.

Claims of grandeur that are not there, claims of accomplishments that have not happened, claims of seeing things that are not real, and claims of  false barriers are not the claims of a sane person.  President Obama’s absurd and contradictory statements are the sort of gibberish that comes from the mouth of mad men. They are prima facie evidence that the President is missing some marbles in his cranium and should be removed from office. Mad men have no place in leading a free people and the world’s greatest nuclear power.

The Obama Administration isn’t just mismanaging things; Jimmy Carter mismanaged things. No one ever seriously questioned Carter’s patriotism or Christianity. They didn’t question his sanity, but they did question his competence. Many including myself, have challenged the economic model used by Carter and his belief in Keynesian economics and socialist policies, but no one questioned his character, except perhaps Ted Kennedy and that crowd. While Carter may have missed what was in plain sight to others, he didn’t make things up. Carter’s people didn’t lie about the data, although they did often cloak it in terms that were favorable to them. President Obama is beyond anything Jimmy Carter might have done.

This President isn’t simply incompetent, he is insane. He doesn’t know the truth from a lie. He makes up stuff, and he sees things that are not there, and he sees himself in a level of grandeur that is not warranted.

It is time to use section 4 of the 25th Amendment.
