This so-called news report featured in the video is so ridiculous, you’d almost think it is some kind of tongue in cheek comedy sketch. But it’s not; it’s the real ridiculously sad state of affairs that has befallen American freedom and the pathetic propaganda machine that is still being labeled as evening news.
The piece starts out with an assertion that, “The FBI claims that this year its agents prevented 150 shootings like the recent one in Colorado.” That’s an extremely impressive record. That would be the equivalent of three shootings per state per year. It’s hard to believe we have such a sick society, but who are we to question the FBI? Of course they will back those claims with reliable information.
Maybe not, but speculation is almost as good as real information to the FBI. In our new Homeland Security driven society, the “bureau” is working with communities targeting individuals of their choosing in a “see something, label someone” type of program. It’s designed to screen out anybody who somebody else thinks is a little off or who fits a subjective profile that the FBI has developed.
Andre Simmons’ FBI unit is charged with stopping mass shootings before they happen. Now, rather than guilty until proven innocent, you are guilty before you’ve done anything. The Behavioral Threat Assessment Center is critical to this process. Three times a week they confront a case dealing with a potential shooter. Tips are received from churches, police, campus security and businesses.
Of course, the evaluation must be done over the phone, through a third-party, so the level of subjectivity naturally goes through the roof. Through the administrative layers, they look for a fascination with previous attacks and an overwhelming sense of a downward spiral.
The real threat, aside from what the FBI wants us to believe, is law enforcement inserting themselves into the private lives of individuals under the guise of prevention of crime, with a threat of incarceration or medical hold if we fail to pass their subjective screening.
The video highlights, as if it is something to be proud of, how they respond to a tip about threatening behavior by sending “analysts” who work to “redirect” the subject, from violence to “mental health treatment,” monitoring, or custody. The FBI team researches the subject’s background, interviews the person and their acquaintances.
Code words to watch out for are analysts, which means anybody with a title, probably a liberal gun-grabber; redirect, which means threaten; and the three types of detainment, “mental health treatment” aka mental hospital confinement, monitoring aka ankle bracelet and custody, aka jail. All of these can happen to you just because someone doesn’t think you are like everybody else. In a worst case scenario, these are the future of anyone owning a firearm and you will be presented with a choice, surrender your gun, or be confined.
The FBI bulletin details how a Threat Assessment Team (TAT) can come looking for you and you’re guilty until proven innocent. The accusation or assessment that you are a threat is enough to get you sideways with the feds. This troublesome policy is explained on the FBI Threat Assessment Team bulletin. It states: “Police serve both an advisory and action-oriented role; they can help with the assessment, start or continue an investigation, or take other appropriate measures, such as making arrests or initiating mental health holds.” If someone calls you crazy, and a cop agrees, you’re going for a ride.
In summary the reporter says that “in the past year the behavioral team has tackled 150 cases, not one has resulted in violence.” Are they making the assumption that all 150 of those cases would have ended violently when they take credit for stopping that number of shootings? Of course they are. Are those assumptions ridiculous? Of course they are. Think of how much better their record would have been if they had conducted 153 interviews this year. They could have ended mass shootings entirely.
Simmons claims that since “the active shooter incidences are continuing, the FBI is doing everything they can to unite mental health services with law enforcement and to “make a positive change.” Everything they can is a scary concept. They can do a lot when their aren’t bridled by having to comply with the Constitution.
In the video the reporter wraps with an anecdotal statement about a guy who had a gun range in his basement and shot pictures of his roommates while abusing animals in his spare time. After a visit from the FBI, he sought mental health treatment. There you go, how much more proof do you need than that?
