Oh boy! When Washington gets wind of this, the explanations for their failure should be entertaining to say the least….

Ning Liang, George Kalogeropoulous and Michael Wasser, three young men in their 20s, have successfully setup a site that mimics what the healthcare.gov site SHOULD do, were it created justly. HealthSherpa.com was setup y these gentleman to exemplify the functionality of such a site, and whether purposely or inadvertently, they’ve just put D.C. to shame.

Their site is simple, functional, and makes a lot more sense than HealthCare.gov does. As it stands right now, in order to get a quote on HealthCare.gov, users must enter all of their personal information into the system before getting a quote. On HealthSherpa.com, however, users only need to enter their zip code to see all of the plans available pricing.

Liang said of HealthCare.gov, “They got it completely backwards in terms of what people want up front. hey want prices and benefits, so that they could make the decision.” The three men did not make the site for profits. Their goal is simple: to help people. Wasser said, “There was no thought of, ‘How do we make money this time?’ It was like, ‘This is a problem that we know we can solve in a really short period of time. So let’s just do it.’” ~SHARKTANK
